Trademark Validity

Trademark validity refers to the length of time that a trademark is valid. which depends on the jurisdiction in which it is registered. In most countries, including the United States, Canada, and the European Union, a trademark registration is initially valid for a period of 10 years.

After the initial 10-year period, the trademark owner may renew the registration for additional periods of time, typically for 10 years at a time. As long as the trademark owner continues to use the trademark in commerce and meets the renewal requirements, the trademark registration can be renewed indefinitely.
