Register in the countries where you are currently active and where you plan to operate in the future. The core question is where your brand is most at risk: where is your customer base largest, and where is brand copying most likely?

For most internationally active businesses, the primary markets to consider are the EU, US, UK, Canada, Australia, and any other large markets directly relevant to the business. Additional jurisdictions can be added over time as the business grows. Starting with your highest-priority markets and expanding registration gradually is the standard approach.
